jdm i/c ???

i bought my motor from japan. so it came with ecu, motor and etc.. also came with this i/c, its black, seems to be bigger than the stock side mount. now i was just wondering if anyone has came accross one of these and if they are any good.. (if it is worth to re-route the i/c piping and install that i/c on the front cuz its too big to install where the smic)

find one of thoes turbo magazine tech blitzkriegs about intercoolers and determine if its worth having or if its a bad design. do the math and see if its worth putting on your car. i imagine if the inlet and outlet are bigger than the stock smic - then its probably worth it if your boosting higher and want more flow in the top end.

inlet and the outlet seems to be the same size as stock.. jsut that the core seems bigger.. but i'll look for those mag. and see if its worth it or not.. thanks

my friends IC on his galant vr4 was black. Maybe u got a motor out of a vr4. Oh yea the ic was positioned in the front on his galant.

if i did get the engine out of the galant.. do i have a 6 or 7 bolt? totally just wondering

Most likely a 6.

sweet thats what i tought.. cuz it sure seems like its a 6 from the vfaq on the oil pan thing.. but then again me and larryd were talkin about the chances that my mechanic could've just pulled that off knowing its a 6 bolt and all the parts that was needed
