I know this doesn't belong here, but maybe I can word it so it fits. Everyone always talks about what a monster our cars are when fully decked. I don't mean '95 piston on 1G rods, AFC, and a 20G. I'm talking Haltech, XXXX super huge turbo, and more weight reduction than even Opera can handle. Well here it is:

Their argument was based on a technicality. The money holder's agreed to a 1/4 mile race, but the drivers agreed the 1000 ft mark to be the stopping point to allow room for the cars to slow down. One thing led to another and then soon it was, "The race was for a 1/4 mile." This video was produced to show the flaw in their logic and show the rest of the world and racing community what kind of people they might encounter. They showed up with the masses, we showed up with roughly 8 -10 of us with 3 cameras.

There are reports of another camera (from the T/A) side that supposedly caught the race with the TA in front by 2-3 car lengths. But mysteriously that never appeared after the race. Also judging by that, the TA would have to make up the car length it was behind and put two on the eclipse within roughly 200 ft. I call BS. Not to mention they both shut off b4 the 1/4 mark, so that just completly blows that theory out of the water. It's alot of hear-say and pride on the line. Unfortunatly the videos dont lie and truth is out there!

fastalon, if his name is Chris and affliated to Motown Motorsports, yep that be him. He left the Michigan scene to hook up with Tchargers. Should be an interesting year to follow. I consider him a good friend. He's awesome to listen to, funny as hell, and cool as a IC. Not sure how he kept it all together after the race, but he did somehow.
 
He got owned by "### crap" and they are embarrased to admit it. Sure that LT1 might be faster at the track (or is it?) but during that particular race it was not. He was beat fair and square and he should pay up.

What a ####y, alwasy with the big frickin mouth till they lose, then the excuses come. If I had $1 for every excuse I have heard...
 
I'ld love to see this go down at the track, and once again my money will ride with the Tcharger's '80s checkered 1G :p. There were things that went wrong for the TA, but then there were a bunch of things that went wrong with the 1G.

Prior to the race (as in the day of) they broke the cars 1000HP drive shaft on the Dyno. That race was run using a stock drive shaft.

The Eclipse was on Pep Boy's specials, aka street tries.

And my personal fav, the engine as a tendency to move and knock things loose on the firewall, mainly the nitrous solenoid connections. That run was with out the giggle juice.

For their sake, I hope the have more than a 150 shot next time.
