Apexi FMIC Questions

Guys,

I've done a lot of research on Apexi FMIC kits and I have found the following:

There are 3 kits out there:

1) The first one is the Skyline Core - which is by far the biggest:

2) The next is a Silvia Core with 3 piece piping. The lower end tank goes to the intake/BOV area and the upper end tank goes to the turbo

I believe (or think) this one does not allow for the use of stock fog lights. This is the kit I have - anyone want to buy it? $800 shipped

3) This uses the Silvia Core once again and has a 4 piece piping system. The lower end tank goes to the turbo and the upper end tank goes to the intake/BOV area.

It looks like the 2 Siliva cores use the same cooler differently - one flows one way and the other flows the opposite way


Now here's my question:

Can anyone comment on the 3 piece system? If the foglights can remain or have to be removed?

I have the 4pc setup, but on both u will need to remove the stock fog lamps and their brackets. It's the core that interfers with them, not the piping. I've seen the pics of the 3pc setup, but am not sure if that was from Apexi or a custom setup. BTW your pics are non-functional.

I think the fog lights can remain on the 4 p/cs kit ... (i fixed the links) and if you look at the first pic under the 4 p/cs section, you will notice that this guy still has his fog lights ......

I use to have the 4-pc on my 97 and I never had to remove the foglights.

the core wasnt in the way with the foglights on my car.
