what size exhaust piping should work?

Hey guys, Im planning on taking out the stock exhaust system including the Downpipe.

Would 3" be fine? or is that too much? 3" downpipe (no cat) 3" exhaust out of to an apexi 3"inlet...

everything is stock at the moment, but I do plan on upgrading the turbo after I get all the other stuff to improve efficiency...

Let me konw whats up if I am making a mistake by going 3", or should i go 2.5 inches??

A 3" turbo back is what I would recommend. It will provide a substantial improvement from what you have now.

If you have 400+BHP as a goal go with a 3" system. If not then stick with a 2.5" system.

Yeah I'm planning to do the same setup also as civic, but there is this one downpipe I'm interested in but it starts out 2.5" to the flex and then from there its 3".

Would that be a a good downpipe to buy??? That is damn cheap for a downpipe unlike some like the Burschur Racing downpipe that costs $300.

Check out ebay, they have a full 3" DownPipe for a great price.
