Ok.. well i did everything you can do to prevent creep on the 16g. I had a guy port my o2 and i had a 34mm wastegate flapper installed. I boosted fine, i put on my catback and it still boosted fine. Well today i put on my Downpipe, 2.5" before flex and 3" after back to 2.5" flang to fit the catback. And i went out and bam hit my 13psi and then creeped all the way to like 17-18psi before i let off. Then i turned the boost down, and i hit my 11psi then it starts to creep slow then bam all the way to 18psi in 3rd then Fuel cut. In 2nd the boost goes from 11psi to 16-17psi and my EGT temps are fine. So i get massive creep after all my precautions, 11psi to 18psi. So here are my questions HOW TO FIX IT? More porting on the O2? Bigger flapper? What

thanks
kyle

Ironically, you have done nothing to control the boost creep.

Porting out the O2 housing will not alleviate boost creep. And getting a larger flapper won't either. What you need to do is allow more exhaust to flow out of the wastegate hole. Therefore, porting that as wide as it can go should slow down the turbo to within controllable limits.

Do you have a catalytic converter on? This will create more back pressure which will also slow down the flow of exhaust gases. Also, if this doesn't help, then you need a bigger turbine side housing with a larger wastegate hole, or a bigger turbine wheel, or just get a S-AFC to control the amount of fuel so that you won't detonate.

I have the wastegate hole ported and the exhuast side of the turbo pretty good. Also the flapper and the porting the o2 "help" beacuse the more exhuast you can get to go though that hole the less goes though the turbine keeping boost in check... that is the way i heard anyway. And yes the afc would help but on stock injectors why? And im sure if i keep the peddle down and i didnt hit fuel cut (like i have) it would easly see 20+psi.
