I have a Frank 4 turbo and I would like to know if anyone can tell me what the most boost is I can run on this turbo and still be efficient? I will have all supporting mods and a built 2.4L motor w/ ported 1G head so that's not my concern. I used to run this turbo at 23psi on a stock motor 97 Tsi AWD with supporting mods and had really good results with it. I'm gonna run this turbo either until it dies or until I can not get anymore HP out of it!

That is kind of what I was thinking. I'm kinda shooting to run 30psi on race gas, that is if the turbo is capable of still being efficient at that level. Any real world experience?

Damn it Matt! I was hoping you wouldn't catch this!:shhh: But I'm really hoping to do the 2.4 (for now), it's not 100% set in stone as of yet, but I'm about 90% sure I can afford it soon.......very very soon :D

haha, Ill keep it on the downlow, I know you are always so secretive about your mods.

So it's looking like about 30psi is going to be the most boost I will want to run with the Frank 4. I don't know how to read compressor maps, so I'm sure that would help if I found a map and had someone look at it for me?

Oh yeah also I just saw that the price of the motor I'm gonna get just went down like $200 so that makes me about 95% sure I'll get one!!

OMG

Is that the 6 bolt I was looking into buying off Nick? I guess you got to it first :(
That is a good price..

Yes I did get it first. So I was talking to someone yesterday and thek said that my Frank 4 is about the same size as their Mutt Level 5, and that my peak efficient boost would be around like 26-28 psi? I wish someone would read this that has been able to run a lot of boost with one!!
