Does anybody have anything bad to say about using a Cozmo fuel pump in their semi daily driver with around 400whp or so?

I am thinking of using one in my non DSM project and am worried about going on long drives if the pump can handle the stress and high temps.

I drive my car alot and sometimes for 16 or so hour trips around the country. I need a pump that can stand up to this demand, and I'm trying to stay away from a Weldon pump since they are soo $$$.

Any input is greatly appreciated. TIA

The Cosmo pump is an OE pump in the JDM Mazda Cosmo, so it should work for exactly what you're asking without any problems. I've driven for 11 hours straight with that pump multiple times, and haven't had any issues with it. OEM parts seem to be pretty reliable in this case. :)

I have the Cosmo unit in my car, it will stand up to daily use and whatnot. it's great.

I've used one without an FPR for about a year on my GVR4. It worked like a champ, but I could tell it would run rish at idle. No drivability problems whatsoever, I could only tell the richness from datalogs.
