Clutch Resurface

Okay, gonna get an ACT 2600 clutch. No Fidanza Flywheel Don't want to spend the extra money. Anyways:

It's my first clutch job:
-How much should it cost to get the flywheel resurfaced? Anything I should tell the resurface shop, or should they already know what they're doing?
-Am I gonna need any special tools? (I've gotten this far[all of my other mods/repairs] with a small socket set, some wire cutters, plyers, and a jack. )

-I've already got the VFAQ bookmarked, and I've browsed over my book, but everything is always way harder, FOR ME, when I actually get started on a project on the Talon.

Probably between $35 and $50 for machining. I believe the step dimension is about .611 for machining. Alignment tool which usually comes with the clutch kit.

-That steel bar thingy in the VFAQ help out a lot, you can make one out of those steel bar/plate from home-depot.
-Check out Road///Race's page on clutch adjustment tip in regarding the fulcrum & shift fork.

Will I need any fluids for:
-Transmission
-Transfer-case

What fluid should I get. Don't you need a pump or something to fill the transmission?

*I'm not dumb, just new! I'm a fast learner tho'.

Yes, you'll need tranny fluid. GM Synchromesh, BG synchroshift, Redline MTL/MT 90, etc.

Transfer case: Just unbolt it and slide it off the yoke and hold yoke end up so as not to spill much oil. Tilt it like that and set it down, yoke end up. It's a good opportunity to change it though. I believe it's like GL4 75w90 but am not sure without looking in the book.
