i was wondering what everypne else is running on there avcr settings..for driving i run 20% on the solenoid and for racing i have it set on 75% solenoid..the settings are set for boost at around 3500 rpms..im just learning at tuning this so i was just wondering what you guys were running..

my personal expreiance with that thing lead me to sell it. it did seem to help spool time, not all that sure how. I let it do the auto thing, didnt seem to hold a stedy boost level. hopefully you know more than I do and will be able to make it work. some have.

I second the selling it part, especially since your AWD. I hated it on my VR6 Turbo setup, it never seemed to be right.

i love the avcR too!!..LOL..it just takes alittle patience to program it and if all else fails have someone help you tune it..i wouldnt sell it for anything..

i own one for four (4) years works GREAT. my settings are 1.25 boost, duty cycle is anywhere form 48 to 52, rpm is set at 3000 and up, auto learn 1st 2nd 3th are set to 3---4th 5th set to 4. holds boost great set your boost to what you want then if your boost goes high lower your duty cycle if it's low set your duty cycle higher. DON'T SELL IT. learn to use it. increase or decrease your duty cycle i click at a time. you can also set you cycle higher or lower at diff. rpm. this unit has it all keep it

Guess I'll chime in :D I too love the AVC-R  It really is a great boost controller if one takes the time to learn. Just have to remember that boost levels will differ from launching from a stop than from a roll. Use to do all my tuning from a roll (3rd or 4th gear pull) and when I launched from a stop it would lead to lower boost.

Just out of curiosity does anyone's duty jump around?

Once you set your boost, then set your duty cycle to 45 to 50 if the boost does hold increase or decrease as need. In the learn mode your duty cycle will move to hold your boost setting once it learns your duty cycle should stay. You can also set boost by rpm. 3000rpm-2.0 boost-4000rpm-1.8 -5000rpm-1.5 this is just an example.
