I have a 1995 GSX Auto. I just bought the HKS super sequential blow off vavle for my car. I am very new to the dsm scene and I hear alot about venting and recirculating the blow-off valve I was wondering what the differnce is and what i should do with my car. Thanks:dsm:

Venting= letting blow off valve release air into the atomsphere; generally causes car to run rich (poorly)

Recirculating= letting blow off valve release air back into the intake (stock)

The reason you must usually recirculate is because the air you are venting has already been measured. If you release this air into the atmosphere the computer thinks that there is more air ppresent than there really is. This causes a rich condition. The HKS SSQ bov is about the best one out there, and most people have no problem venting with it. The best way is to find out for yourself by trial and error. Recirculating is always a safe bet, while venting varies with every setup/car.

The local shop I go to has about 15 dsm's all turbo and on all there cars they are venting to the atmosphere. They have not had problems with it. Will i be able to tell right away if venting to the atmosphere is not a good idea on my car if i try it?

do u have a direct link to where i can get this also do u have any pictures?

Yeah that is why i wanted to vent it i love the sound. Thanks for the link i will be looking into that product.:thumb:
