Max boost from T-25 garrett?

17 is about the most you would want to run and it will still drop down to 12 or 10 after 5k.

He did make more power on the Dyno@20psi. But I don't recommend that for daily driving.

I got my T-25 up to 24PSI once. Hehe.

Seriously, you don't make any more power after 16PSI. It just heats the intake air even more and makes the motor more prone to detonation.

Matt.

Is it possible or how hard would it be to hit 12s on a T-25? Some people i was talking to said it was easy. It's on a SRD20..silvia engine...i believe.

Anything is possible with enough time and money. However, I don't think that 12's on a T-25 is an easy feat. A 16G would have no problem, and some have done it on the 14b.

It's possible if the car weighs about 2200 pounds and NOS is used. It's still not going to be easy, especially if you're trying to stick with basic bolt on mods.

Well if you want to blow the motor.... try using 26 psi.... atleast you'll beat a 14.10's mustang :).... (with a broken wg actuator at highway speeds 26 psi is possible but not recommended)

Actually your wrong. I made more power at 23lbs then at 19lbs and at 14lbs.. More boost did equal more power. though I wouldnt suggest doing it often :)

Wait a second, Larry. I thought that the dyno charts you showed us at 23 LBS showed that you were making more torque, but because you weren't making any new power past 5K that you didn't make any horsepower as a result? Please correct me if I'm wrong...

As everyone else said I would keep it around 16 or 17 psi. The turbo is too small to push more than that without just pushing hot air in my opinion.

Should the t25 and 12's be in the same sentence? Also the turbo on the 240 or the sr20det is not exatly the same turbo. As i recall. But there is no way a t25 is getting into the 12 without the use of a little to alot of NOS. Fastest iv seen or heard a t25 going was a 13.8 and that was with alot of bolt ons, probably get it a little faster but not a second faster.

Here ya go.

I made more power and more torque on each run everytime I turned up the boost.

laurence (aka Prodigy) ran low 13's with his T25 if i'm not mistaken, however his is ported, but nonetheless, its a T25......i run mine at 16ish and its fine, i turn it up from time to time, but the thing is when i turn it up higher, it drops off a lot worse (like to 10psi) near redline, but for some reason when i leave it at 16 or 17 it holds better boost longer, i dont know why, thats just what my boost gauge tells me....i personally wouldnt go much over 18 on it, unless you have a few fuel mods so you dont mess anything up
i wouldnt want to sacrifice the longevity of my motor for a few more psi, but thats just me......i am getting ready to go a lot bigger soon (most likely 18G), but maybe just grap a T28 and call it a day....that'd pull a lot harder.......anyway, just my .02
Brian
