I read somewhere before that you can use the stock BCS along with a MBC. The MBC would be switched.

Example: You are driving around all day using the stock BCS to control boost and you pull up to a stoplight. The unsuspecting Ferrari is in the lane next to you. You think to yourself that you have no chance to win running 14psi on the stock BCS level so you flip a switch to bypass your BCS so that you can use your MBC that you already had set at 18psi. The light turns green and as your turbo spools up you pull 3 car lengths on the Ferrari. But all is lost after you hit fuel cut and the Ferrari takes the lead...

Oh, ummm sorry.

Does somebody know where the link to do this mod is at?? I can't find it anywhere. I know of the one here http://www.eclipsegsx.com/switch.htm but that doesn't use the BCS.

Any ideas? Thanks:thumb:

I really dont see why youd wanna bother? Why not just remove the BCS totally from the equation and run off your MBC? I mean, I guess I can see a point to it, but just to much work IMO.

Sometimes the MBC I have will spike and the BCS never did. My BCS was always at 14psi with no creep. Also I just kind of like the fact that if my MBC ever craps out I still have the BCS. Mine is one that if the screw falls out I will get a nasty vacuum leak since the ball/spring will fall right out.

Anybody have this link handy? Thanks

I've not run across this being done on a TEL, but it's probably out there somewhere.

Thanks for the links. I don't think its quite what I found before though. I thought I read somewhere that if you switched our BCS it would throw a CEL. I guess I'll have to do some more research on that. Thanks for posting those though! They give me a pretty good idea of what to do even if I don't ever run across the same link again. :thumb:

In the mean time, anymore links from anybody would be aweasome!
