Crane DIS ignition box?'s

Has anyone used this this?It too as 2 stage RPM limiter ,switchable.But I dont want some thing thats no good.Was leaning on MSD,But I'm willing to try something New .I think its new.

it's basically the same thing as the msd, for the money i'd buy something else, what is your mod list?

Getting 660's on Sat.I want to try opening up the Sparkplug gap.

you cant really open the plug gap too much. under high boost (race gas) cylinder pressure is immense. the cool thing about the ignition is that it eliminates every little hiccup your car might suffer throughout the rpm range. the other thing is that you can hook the 2 stage up to your cruise control switch and use it for launching. i loved it and it was much more reliable than the msd. i would highly recommend it. if you have any q's please pm me. john

That would be well worth it.I also see that they fill the unit with sometype of gel.Keeps things from rattlin loose.

dont get scared of the install. its actually not that bad. another reason i thought of is that theres no chance of the stock coil pack going bad as you gut it and replace it all with crane stuff which is much better IMHO. the msd you just plug in but if theres a prob with the coil pack the msd will only amplify it.
