i installed an aftermarket boost gauge and after i added the t-bar connector the line to my gauge broke causing my check engine light to come on the car to not upshift, well i fixed the vacume line problem so the tranny is fine. how do i reset the check engine light im sick of looking at it.

when we were playing around with a different kind of mas on my 97 gs-t, we pulled the wire with the car running to see if it would run without the signal from the mas. well, it didn't & it tripped a cel. all i did was unhook the battery for 2 minutes (that way your stereo doesn't lose it's code) and rehooked the battery up. the cel was gone.

just unplug your batterys negative for about a hour or go to autozone. they can erase it for free but if u choose to unhook the battery it resets everthing including the anti theft on the stock headunit but if youve got the code your fine. i recommend trying autozone first.

thanks guys but after i got the right hoses connected to my boost gauge after about a day the cel went away, thank, now im just looking for some cheap exaust
