13G or 14G on a 2G

I want to upgrade from my t-25 however im on a tight budget. Would a 14G or 13G be a decent upgrade? Are they worth the time and money? What are the differences between a 13G and a 14G and which is better? My car is a 5 speed and the 13G only came on auto 1Gs right. What other parts would I need to be able to use these turbos? Has anyone upgraded to a 13G? Thanks for any info! ~Matt

13Gs aren't worth your while IMO, just get a 14B for next to nothing from someone with a 1g who is upgrading. I've seen a couple of threads where people talked about the increase in their 2g's performance with the 14B and for the little amount of money you spend, it seems worth it.

Get the 14B, all you need is a the hacker/tweaker kit from Roadraceengineering.com and it will bolt on. I would also search around for a small 16G on dsmtrader. Be patient and you'll find something. I was gonna get a 14B then found a 16G in good shape but with a cracked beyond repair exhaust housing, for $140 then bought a new 16g exhaust housing for $150. Good luck.

I never did it, but I think all you need is:

1.)J-Pipe
2.)SS Braided Oil line

I would get:
1.)Dejon Tool 14b/16g lower intercooler pipe
-Connects 14b/16g turbo to stock intercooler. (No hacking needed)
2.)Stainless Steel Turbo Oil Supply Line
-New oil line for turbo.

*That would be the cheapest/easiest(From what I've seen).

f@ck all that. you have at least $120+ on there. It can be done for less than $25 and several of us on here have done it.
