I started the car after putting the head on. It runs ok, fine, with one exception; a slight pause after applying throttle.

I am curious if the cam angle sensor needs to be adjusted? I didn't mark it, I just put it on in the middle/centered, approximately. I do not know how to adjust it properly yet, is that something you are supposed to do after putting the head back on?

My TPS is good.

Timing belt seems set fine

sounds like the timing is off on the cas. use a timing light while you turn the cas and set the timing at 5 degrees btdc
