I am possibly looking to buy some new cams. If i do i'll get HKS 272/272, but i have seen that crower makes cams as well, and was wondering if anyone has them or heard anything about them, whether o not they're as good as HKS's. :dsm: :thumb:

From what I heard, Crower happens to be a big leading company on pistons, rods, valves, crankshafts, cams, and many other internal engine products on the US, but they seem to have a big market on v8 engines, like fords, chevys, dodges etc, that doesn't make them bad on small engines, but HKS focus more of its products on import engines, this is kinda obvious having in mind that HKS is a company from japan, therefore HKS would probably be a better option to go with, but then again I'd never seen crower cams working bad... lets see what others have to say about it...! :thumb:

In my opinion I'll choose HKS...!

I had crower stage 2 cams on my GST. The bottom end was non existant, the turbo took longer to spool, the top end pulled pretty strong but in the end I sold them because I did not like the way the car drove with them.

The only thing I really liked about the Crowers was the idle, it had a nice lobey idle to it :)
