Does a 2.5 inch test pipe fit to the stock downpipe?

I just purchased a Apex N-1 exhaust. The one with the wierd flanges since its 80mm. Well the adapter goes 80mm to 2.5 in, so I was going to use a 2.5 inch test pipe then use the stock dp intill i get some more money up for a dp. So my question is will a 2.5 inch test pipe fit to the stock downpipe?

It should cause I'm using one right now, actually I'm using it with the stock exhaust system!!!

so you can bolt up a 2.5 test pipe to the stock exhaust pipes then?

yes, i had a 2.5" test pipe bolted up to my stock exhaust for a while...worked fine...
