Do you think it's worth getting the AFCII for a 2G

as the title says.
and the prices of the 2G AFC's are alot cheaper, what other beneficial feature does the AFCII has that would make me consider getting it since it wont read knock on the 2Gs

I'd wait a little bit longer before the full reviews are in on the SAFC II before purchasing one. No one has really played around with it extensively but it'll be just a matter of time before it happens.

i would get the safc 2.........its basically the same things, with more options, dif look, and u can choose smaller rpm incraments.

I agree with c0de. The smaller RPM increments and the options (including having a joystic type interface instead of buttons, way easier to play with) are beneficial enough to warrant getting the new AFC II

I would definitely go for it. It will allow you to read knock, has more rpm points. what I like most about the S-AFCII, is it has 2 maps. You can store say your race gas tune, for when you go to the track. Or vise versa, I would definitely get one:thumb:.

I think it is worth buying. My friend uses his AFC and its great, the AFC II looks better and has more features.;)

I own the SAFC II. I will write a review on it when I get fully tuned. I have never used the old one but, I like the new one alot. The 2 file feature is really nice. Because I can do a run with one setting and then do another run with a slightly different setting to see if there is a difference without erasing the original. The rpm incriments are really nice. I have mine set up as follows:

800 right at idle
1400
2000
2600
3200
3800
4400
5000
5600
6200
6800
7400
