I was wondering on how good is the boost gauge that is built into the Blitz Dual Turbo Timer is. Does it read well enough that I could use it as a boost gauge and save $50 on getting one? I was just wondering if it reads reliably where I could save some $$$. Let me now what you guys think. Thanks.

which turbo timer do you have? i have the compact one (control panel connected to a box via a fairly long wire) and it isn't something i would trust, it doesn't show boost in number increments

I don't have one myself. I was planning on getting one but I found an enlarged pic of the Blitz dtt and the boost is read in bars that are estimated so I am getting a boost gauge (more accurate anyway). I was under the impression that the tt told the boost in number increments.

i heard it's inaccurate, from a number of threads I have come across.....I have a Blitz DTT....and well it shows it in number increments....however it's in a different measurement...not Bar nor lbs/sq.in. Hope that answers your question.

the one i have just shows a bar across the top of the display... and i think that it just monitors the ignition signal
