To bore or not to bore?

Ok, so here it is. I am going to be doing a 6-bolt swap. I'm putting 95 pistons and big rods in. The thing I want to know is if I need to bore out the block. Is it a good thing to do no matter what or only if it looks that the engine needs it (scarred etc)? I couldn't find any posts on this and there is one then just shoot me the link and the thread can be closed. thanks a lot.

i would just hone it. save the bore for when you need it

yeah honing the block would refinished the cylinder walls, if you bored the block you'd have to have the over bored pistons to fit. I just had my block bored & honed for wiseco forged pistons
