Misfire?? Help me determine...

Whenever I gas my car a little, the car stumbles a little and the exhaust goes "pop pop". Sometimes it happens, sometimes it is fine. grrr... driving me nut!! No CEL...

Will bad CAS causes that? I have changed my plugs and plug wires and it doesn't seem to improve.

Also, if coilpack went bad, any signs or how can i test it? Please help!

are you positive its a misfire?? if it is your get a CEL, according to www.magnusmotorsports.com you'll get the misfire code becuase

1. 300+ seconds of steady state RPM less than 80% throttle position

2. engine coolant temperature -10C or higher

3. intake air temperature -10C or higher

4. barometric pressure greater than 76 kPa

What mods do you have? Sounds like you are just running increadibly rich and that is causing the backfire...

I'm suspecting the CAS.. It leaks oil and the connection is loosen. Does anyone has experience with bad CAS??
