boost leak or clutch slip?????

man i need to know if anybodys had this problem before .to tell the difference in a slipping clutch or boost leak.when i take off in first and go throught the gears its seems fine .but if im in a gear in which rpm's are low and try to boost up and go, it goes up to 5 lbs fine and then revs up and then goes .i can hear my turbo to when this happens loud whinning noise .wonder if i should get new bov first and then clutch.im getting new clutch soon anyway but dont want to do right now if i dont have too. thanks. car is stock awd turbo 1st gen

My car is dong the same thing. It will only slip in the higher gears, 3rd slips anywhere after 1/2 throttle. 1st and 2nd don't slip much....yet. ACT 2600 here I come!

Does sounds like a clutch slipping issue.

If the revs go up but the car doesn't get faster and then kicks in again that slipping clutch.
