who needs balance belt?

Your engine would vibrate excessively. I would only recommend Balance Shaft Elimination if the engine is fully balanced. The drawback of the vibration would outweigh the HP gain, but that's my opinion. Some people may be able to live with it.

You cannot just not put that belt on. There are two balance shafts, that one and a 2nd one driven by the oil pump. You can eliminate your balance shafts only if you eliminate both shafts, otherwise it will vibrate very bad. And contrary to what some believe the balance shafts have nothing to do with having your engine balanced.

Yep, you can't just take the belt off, he's right. Plus it doesn't vibrate as bad as Agent Ezzard makes it out to be. I have mine out with poly mounts and it doesn't vibrate too much at all.

same here! I have no balance belt on my car and it runs like it did before  its just for couple of weeks untill I get the stuff needed to get it right but I am still curious why it´s there if it has so little influence on the engine??
