Kingsport,
I was thinking about buying a block from a 1g with less than 60,000 miles on it and putting it in my 2g since mine is blown. I am going to reuse the 2g head...my question is, will everything go in just like its a 2g block or what will I have to do to get it to go in? Please help me out if u can, I am in a hurry, I really need my car back. Thanks guys

Yes you can use a 1G 6bolt (I assume) block with a 2G head. Make sure you have the oilpan and the flywheel for the 6 bolt as the 7 bolts wont work. If you buy a '90 6 bolt motor, I believe you have to buy an external oil cooler, due to the '90 set ups.

So if I throw the 2g head on the 1g block it will bolt right in like a 2g motor? Or will I have to relocate motor mounts or something like that?

i think you have to change a few things if your going from a 7 bolt to a 6 bolt....go to magnusmotorsports.com and look at the 1g in a 2g
