Bouncing Idle?

On my way to work this morning I noticed my idle would start bouncing the moment I came to a stop. I would sit there at a stoplight just watching my idle bounce from 800RPMS to 1500RPMS!

Now when I finally reached the parking lot at my job the idle would hold at 1700-1800RPMS steady! WTF???? Anybody know why this would happen???

Sounds like you have an intake leak, or your idle is set too high. Either one of those would cause that. Try seting your idle lower and if that doesn't fix it, start checking for leaks from your MAS to the throttle body.

I just had the idle screw adjusted about 2-3 weeks ago so it can't be that. Prolly a loose MAS or something by the intake like you said. Thanks for the idea. I'll check it during lunch.

its your biss.base idle set screw.ive got the same problem.if you dont have the cap that goes over the top it loosens everyonce and a while.when it does this there a little o-ring at the bottom of the screw that unseats itself very slightly causeing your idle to jump.mine does it all the time.machv has the with the cap and screw w/oring for like 15 bucks.
