Anyone heard of Bullfrog?

how did we go from bullfrog to GUDE? I've never heard of either so maybe I'm just missing out on something there.

Its the same company, Bullfrog is just what they call some of their stuff.I bought their racing head package for my 2G NT, my personal opinion if you want machine work go somewhere else.I have spend about 200 bucks on head gaskets am about to drop even more for shipping back to them with their crappy head which dosen't even work, all it does is chew up the #3 exhaust valves.I have installed it twice with the help of a German Master Mechanic, which makes an ASE certification look like a mail in to Sally Struthers degree on TV. Ang guess what my car has run exactly 2 times.The head is most likely warped or the cam journals are shot one of the 2 neither of which I can correct, So I have to send the thing back and just install my stock crap and concentrate on my new project.

They are alright. I have a few friends that use there cams, and stuff. Never heard any complaints

I know of ONE person that has used Gude on their DSM.

He has had no problem with their work.

Gude? is a joke his regirnd cams are a hit or miss type deal. I use to work at a shop with a Dyno. We did a stock civic with bolt ons bla bla it put down 119hp did the gude head package on the car redynoed the car. It made 115hp, Played with it all night and it got back to 118hp. There heads just suck in my book It's No Gude.

yup. dont bother with them. My cousin did a Gude/Bullfrong head package on his Sentra SE-R and got a total of about 0 horsepower and it took them about 5 months. For all we know , they could have lost his head and sent him another stock one.

This is my final opinion of Gude after pulling their junk head off my car again I found that this time instead of just bending valves, one of the #4 cylinder exhaust valves bork off and succesfully managed to completely destroy my motor.The piston was sitting in the oil pan in peices.There were metal chunks in all the rest of the cylinders and the gouges in the cylinder walls of the #4 piston were about .080 deep.Which makes my motor a very heavy peice of garbage right now.Hell with their head the car only ran twice and broke in the shop.Then when I called them and told them what happened all they had to say to me was it wasn't their fault, and when I asked for a refund all they said they would do for me is give me another head.Can you belive that?They S***K in my opinion and I plan on letting everyone know it.In fact since I hold them personally respponsible for the death of my motor and they aren't coughing up anything, I am going to sue their A** and get what I deserve out of them!
