this kid on my local forum is going to put a T04B on his 3G, all it has is a Injen intake. He doesnt have any internal work but he is gonna put some 450c.c injectors on there and he thinks he will be fast as hell running only 5.5 -7 psi. he said the other guys blew up their engine pushing over 6 psi to thier block . is it just me or do you think something bad is gonna happen. heres a pic of his turbo......

... he really needs to do some research on turbo tech. First off the turbine flange is way too big. It looks like one of the 1.56 A/R turbines, they use those in V8s and turbo diesels. It just wont work! If you can stuff that on a T3 turbine housing, .63 A/R on the 4cyl, and the .83 A/R on the 6 cyl, that would work better. If he is just looking at 6psi, supercharge it, or stick with an T3. The T4 will just have way too much lag for what he wants out of it. Unless he is going complete drag, drop the turbo and look for something else.
, course Im almost stock) that are running 13's, everyone else is between 9s-12s, so far the fastest Camaro that is still street legal is pulling 10.7's on the 1/4 mile on ET streets with only heads a cam and nitrous, and thats without tuning....it was a break in run, there's a Trans Am running 8psi on a Procharger turning out 462rwhp...guesstimating 550bhp (everything else is stock on the car) but he hasnt been to the track yet...on the not smog legal side one car is running a stroked LS1 motor with a 250shot of nitrous and pulling 9.2's at the track (he can still drive it on the street since it looks stock from the outside but it wont pass a sniffer)
