I want to know what else i need to install it on a 2G...Like how to hook up the DP???What kinda J-pipe to use???What kinda external wastgate to use???and N E other thinks i might need i wantr to know if it is worth trading it for my turbo setup i have now...
Thanks guys
Dave

you probably have to custom your O2 housing, so your Dp will hook up to it, usually on the t3t4 manifolds made , you can put a Delta gate WG on there or you can/SHOULD put a TIAL 35mm wg on there which should be good..

Thanks guys...He is shipping me the 60-1 today i traded him for my costom built super16G...

I just want to make sure that you know what you are getting into... 60-1 has MAJOR lag. Forget about lifting between the shifts!

I do not get full boost (26psi) until almost 6000rpms... Now that is lag!!! Most people recommend 50-80hp NOS shot to help it spooling.

This is definitely all out drag strip turbo. Which requires different driving style and many other mods. So far, I am slower on it than I was on my 20g :(.

My best ET with 20g was 11.3 and best ET with this turbo is 11.6 (so far). Granted, I only raced this turbo on two occasions, but still, I was running 11.5s the first night of having a 20g.

Now, I am sure that this turbo will eventually be faster, but there is some amount of growing pains associated with it.

I am thinking of trying out 50 trim compressor housing for better all around drivability. As I also do some occasional AutoX races.

Well damn...I dont know what i have gotten myself into now...went from small and fast spooling to huge and no spooling...LOL...now NO2 might be next on my list...

So the 60-1 has a 4" inlet...**** i think this guy if f***ing with me then the one he has a 3" inlet...

GRNDSM knows what he's talking about! Im using a 50 Trim T3T4, you will need on top of the turbo/manifold/external: a -3 or -4 oil line, and a 90* fitting on the top of turbo, and a strait fitting and a 1/8" to 3/8" pipe threa dadapter to put the oil line into the oil filter housing.

For 02 housing...the VP 02 housing is the best one made, solid 304 stainless. It's a work of art almoast. Well worth it's $275 price.

for the oil drain, get a T3 drian flange, and a 1/2" pipe to bard fitting. Use rubber line to connect to a cut off stock drain hose.

you will also need some misc hardware/buts/bolts to get it all together. a T3 turbine gasket..you don't need an 02 hosuing gasket

the 60-1 is also available in a Hi-Fi version that has a 2.75" inlet and a 2" outlet. The standard 60-1 has a 4" inlet and a 2.5" outlet. If you are getting a 3" inlet...it could possibly be a 60 trim T04E compressor, not a 60-1. Info is available on the turboneticsinc.com website.

If you need help/parts installing the T3T4 give me a ring 908 362 5532
