Alright, well I needed new plugs, so I decided to go for the NGK BPR6ES ones that everyone recommends for relatively stock vehicles. Only problem is the auto parts stores around here only carry these NGK BPR6EKN plugs. These things have dual prongs going towards opposite sides of the electrode. I know the stock gap is s'posed to be .030, but I don't have a clue how to gap these suckers. I tried simply gapping each prong, but they don't even come close to the stock .030. I couldn't even fit my gapper between the electrode and the prong (it starts at .020). I don't get it... so I figured that from the factory they've gotta be somewhat close, and even if the gap is too close the worse that'll happen is I don't get a good combustion and it doesn't run too great. So I threw them in and the car is running 100 percent better. I was having lots of hesitation and problems in general, and these plugs have cured all of that. What do I do about the gap though? Am I retarded or what? Do I leave it like it is?
Thanks,
Bryan
