I got an auto turbo and i definatly would say hold out and wait for the stick, the speed diffrence is noticable and if i could have done it again I would not have got an auto, but thats just my 2 cents!

You'd be surprised at the power of a DSM auto with the correct mods and tuning!

A 1G auto will take a lot to make fast. Stock they have milder cams, a smaller turbo, and smaller injectors. If you want to stick with a 1G, then hold out for a stick. On a 2G, the engines are the same so you don't have that hurdle to overcome. The 30% drivetrain loss, however... Ask me how I know...
