HELP ME! I only got 3 hours before I get out of work, When I hooked up my boost gauge I tapped in to the P vac line with the red stripe just like dsm.org says, well this morning I noticed that my car was running wierd , it was at 800 900 idle after a 20 minute 80mph ride to work! So I new that it had to do with my boost gauge. Its been hooked up for about 3 weeks with no problems but the presure fitting I used cut the line!
My coworker is going to the auto store to score some vac line but I was wondering what kid of fitting do you guys have and were did you tap in? The fitting I got is a vac T with 2 vac and one little boost outlet made of brass/ a standard compresion fitting. It has two tubes the go inside the vac line with nuts and collars that go over them but because its such a small area to tap in it cut it apart! I have to drive home in a few hours.
What does the P line control or do?
What fitting do you have?
Did you buy new hose or use the stock?
Thanks
Tom
If some of that doesnt make sense its because Iam working and typin at the same time,Its not workin out!
