for anyone who can give me an answer. Will a 1g awd exhaust fit and work on a 1g fwd? id like to just use a awd exhaust since it has almost zero bends compared to a fwd. if it wont work then i guess ill just get a custom exhaust made t go under the axle but id rather just have a exhaust can buy and bolt up

thankx all
Travis

No it will not. dejon powerhouse i believe sells a kit. Megan Racing has a downpipe for our cars. Then i custom built mine with three flanges from there back. .I used all stainless steel. Looks sicks. But it was very expensive. I think the dejon powerhouse one is a third of what i spent.

You're FWD right? Under what axle? You have twist beam trailing arm rear suspension. W/ stock height, the beam is a hair under 8" from the ground. I wouldn't risk running exhaust UNDER the beam. 1G awd rear axles are 10" from the ground where the exhaust crosses under.

How much back pressure do you really think you'd reduce by having 1-2 less bends? I know performance is likely paramount. But if that is important enough to worry about a few pipe bends, then run a side exit.

I was also wondering a cheap exhaust solution. Im building a drag car so should i just dump it shorty after the test pipe?

A short pipe is better than a long pipe for turbo applications. Fluid flow can be paralleled to electrical current flow. A short wire provides less resistance thana long wire of the same diameter.
