Hey guys, first the car is a 94 2.0 non turbo. The car idles like it has cams at idle, doesnt smoke, doesnt go through coolant, doesnt overheat. Car has very very watery exhaust gas, and im also going through gas like crazy. Changed the plugs which seem to burning a little hotter than normal, and everything else checks out ok. Could it possibly be the FPR or the soleniod? Any help is greatly apprettiated. Thanks, Ed.

Check your O2 sensor if it's running real rich.
Then I would check fuel pressure.
If you know how to read your plugs do so.

When is the watter coming out just at start up? Or even after driving around a while?

I replaced the plugs last night and they were wet, didnt really smell of anything. Water comes out constantly at startup, then when its warm only when i rev the engine.

Well, if it's not comsuming coolant or doesn't have low compression without blow by I SERIOUSLY doubt a blown HG. Sounds to me just like condensation is building up in it.

If you drive around for say 20min and stop, rev the engine etc. it should be dry. If so thats all it is.

P.S. Coolant leaking into the combustion chamber cause's white smoke to come from the exhaust.

Yea I know, but its a dsm so anything can happen in my eyes....how can condensation build up to the point that the car idles like crap? Maybe I should make sure my injector O-rings are good. The car drives perfect unless you are at a standstill and go to take off it kinda bogs and then as it revs up its fine. IDK Ill investigate some other things. Thanks, Ed.

I checked the wires at night with the drop light off and the car running and saw no arcing, also checked connections at the coil, ptu, and all boots. I was planning on doing a comp test this weekend so I guess I will see how that goes. Thanks, Ed.

Unplugged the 02 sensor yesterday, made absolutely no change in anything, cel didnt come on, so im guessing that could be the problem. Ed.

That is true, but if you unplug it, the computer should at least go wtf and try to compensate something for it correct? Because when you unplug it, what does the computer have to read off of? Ed.

Check your cam timing. . . If it *sonds* like you have a cam upgrade (lope), then it is possible that you jumped a tooth and you are running w/ more overlap. High overlap causes cam lope and could cause your lopey idle issues. . .

I can run all day long w/out my o2 sensor. The ecu looks for the signal to read high at some point as it is dumping fuel. If it never sees over .5 volts from the o2 sensor, it just "shuts off" the o2 fuel trim changes and runs in open loop. . . I've done this w/out causing a CEL.

Do you have a logger?

P.S. High overlap can cause some fuel to be unburnt at idle. It can cause terrible idle fuel consumption. It will also caue a compression check to read abnormally low.

Its all good dsmonster....cam timing is on. Messed around with the injectors and the idle changed , still rough but not as bad. I had 2 o rings laying around so i only replaced 2 for now and it didnt do anything so I imagine the other 2 are prob bad.

Yea I had turned off my car, went to the passenger side to let my son out of the car and smelled gas in the fender area....so when I came back outside I opened the hood and turned the car on. While the car was idling i turned the injectors left and right and sure enough the idle started to change dramatically. I would have never thought o rings could make the car run this bad. Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions I really apprettiate it. Ed.
