Dejon Tool Exhaust for a 1g

I've tried searching and only found posts about dejon tool's intake systems... my question is I just recently bought a dejon tool 3" o2 eliminator downpipe and exhaust all the way back.... After installing it I have two major problems.... 1st problem is I can not change my oil filter.... My downpipe has the o2 atmospheric dump and the dump tube is about a inch and a half away from my filter... now the only way to change my filter is to remove the downpipe or take it down to a exhaust shop and have them move it(which I don't think I should have to do... paid a lot of money for "bolt-on" and now I have to pay more just to get it to work...)... 2nd problem has to do with the first... The dump tube dumps all the exhaust right on the rubber hose connecting the hard water line from the waterpipe to the oil filter housing(the little rubber hose that's a PITA to change).... I am gonna take some pictures right now and I'll post them up as soon as I can... I also will be sending them to Dejon Tool to see what they want to do......

Just wanted to see if anyone else had any other problems with their Dejon Tool Exhaust systems and what happened......

I am assuming that this is not for the cars that you have listed in your profile since you say 1G above but have a 97 and a 99 listed. Anyway, the earlier Mitsubishi oil filters were shorter with a larger diameter. The later generation ones were taller with a smaller diameter. I know that the taller ones with the smaller diameter can be used on the older models (not sure about the other way around). Take a look. If the filter's diameter is smaller than the part of the filter housing that it screws onto then maybe changing to the older (shorter) style filter could give you enough clearance to remove/install it without removing the DP. I can't say for sure that this will work but it may be worth consideration.

As for the oil filter I have a 1g and the short fat one is the one I use... Oh yeah my profile is a little out of date, the only info I have on their right now is for my 99 gsx..the car I am talking about is my '91 Talon AWD....

Also I sent these same pictures to Dejon Tool and got a response back saying that their exhaust system is designed for a 1990 ETL with air-oil coolers and not water cooled which would be 91-94....

I am also curious what other turbo back exhaust systems are out there that any of you would recommend...

It might be cheaper to buy an O2 housing that puts the WG gases back into the exhaust rather than another turbo back system.
