Just installed my FIC 650's and did everything by the book. Set the SAFC-2 at -30 all the way across and cranked...didn't start. Set the AFC to -18 all the way across...didn't start. Zero'd out the AFC...wouldn't start again. Primed the fuel pump like the Chiltons said before i ever tried to crank. Thought maybe i was getting no fuel pressure so i backed out the bolts on the fuel supply line...started hissing and spitting fuel as it was loosened. So i know i am getting fuel to the rail. Loosened the rail gradually with the supply line fully tightened and the tops of the injectors started spitting fuel as they were loosened. My question is are the injectors actually squirting fuel? Took one out and smelled the bottom and didn't really smell any fuel. Do I need to take out the little blue rubber inserts in the top inlet of the injector? The factory ones had no such rubber insert. If I do, what would be the best method? Thanks in advance for any help.
