hey everyboy, im lookin for some information on power chips and ECU's on the first gen talons, i own a 1991 talon tsi awd manual tranny, my first ride, im 16,,,i bought a 1991 auto tsi fwd to fix my other one up, needed a few nick nacks and i only paid $400 for it so i figured good part car...my question is, the guy i bought the talon from told me he had a 60hp chip installed a year or two ago...where would this power chip be located? and where is the ecu located? also since the auto's are slighltydifferent than the manuals, will the chip even work? if somone could help please email me at [email protected], and as well, how hard is an install of a short throw shifter into my car? thanks for reading...please reply
 
60hp chip ? LOL. sounds like this dude been playing a little bit too much of gran turismo, best we can get for dsm's is the Eprom I think.
 
I have the 60 hp chip, it's right next to the flux capacitor. Just reach under the dash and you'll find it.
