Umm... not too sure what you're trying to say. If you mean open dump, then yes, there are good gains to be had from having little to no exhaust restriction. You could simply use a piece of piping off your O2 sensor housing in place of your downpipe and run it straight to the ground. Or your could replace your O2 housing with a tubular one, cut the flange, and extend it to dump too.

If you're asking about gains from dumping the wastegate, then yes and no. Most people dump for better boost control, to prevent boost creep. Boost spike is when your wastegate doesn't open fast enough, so you get a spike in your boost level before it settles out. Boost creep is when your wastegate can't flow enough, either from a restriction or from turbulance of returning it to the exhaust stream, so you end up building up more boost than you would want.

The gains from dumping your wastegate? Well, you're not putting as much exhaust through the exhaust piping, so if you think about it, you've effectively got bigger exhaust piping. The real issue with dumping is the noise. If you like to boost all the time, your car is going to be obnoxiously loud, all the time. My 18g, with an internal wastegate is dumped, and it's annoying as fVck. I'm probably going to replace the O2 housing with another ebay one, but this one rerouted into the exhaust.

You really only need to be thinking about dumping if you've got boost control problems. Or just switch over to an external wastegate setup. Most people just dump them to avoid the hastle of re-routing them. Plus they're the ultimate in boost control.
