squeal uder boost

i have recently developed a major @#$*^%$ squeal from uder the hood when my car starts to boost all the way until i shift. thought it was a boost leak some where so i replaced every gasket/hose from turbo to the throttle body base gasket still no f*^%@*! help it seems to fluctuate noisier quieter at times. hell it even went away at one time, it doesnt make any sense to me. is it my turbo. the sqeal sounds like a balloon when you pull apart the inlet to make it chirp/squeal like a mini elephant but alot louder. PLEASE HELP!

Check your belts, its probably just from one or more of them being loose.

I already did that, It's an air squeal, I'm sure of that. it only happens under boost. Never when I'm driving around or when I start the vehicle up. like I previously stated, It's just like a balloon full of air and your are restricting the air coming out by pulling the end apart very tight so you get a squeal. thats the only way I can think of how to describe it. If it is belts, they usually squeal when tou start up also. Besides I took off the only belt on the vehicle to make sure it wasn't that. Unfortunately that isn't the problem. I wish it was. Any other ideas? Anybody?

is it just your turbo spooling? i can hear mine spool and i am sure it has always done it but i just noticed it like a month ago when my friend rolled the window all the way down.

I had the same problem i am glad that someone posted that problem on here. I had the same thing to i jsut remembered about it. I could hear like a squeal under boost and then it went away once the motor was warm. And later on it tuned into a small clatter that went away once the motor was warm, and then it turned into a 3000 dollar kaboom. IMO if you do think it is a leak or something i would look for it. If all else fails pull the pan and check the rods. Keep us or atleast me posted on what it turns out to be. I just want to warn people of the sipmtoms i had before my car gave way. Just my .02
