Hi.

Is the crank position sensor the same for all 4G6* engines?
can I use the crank position sensor from a 4G61 non turbo engine on a 4G63T engine?

thanks!

/Dan from sweden

but If I get the sensor of a Non turbo 4G63 and put it on the 4G63T?
will that fit?
and If I just get a sensor that fits the ECU conectors on the wire harness then it will work right?

because I live in Sweden. Hence I don't have access to the "right" sensor. I would have to order it from the USA.
and that WILL make it twice as expensive.
thats why. otherwise I would have just bought it.
anyone have a spare crank position sensor?

the bastards that I bought the engine of (lokal junkyard) had taken it off for some strange reason.!!!

hmmm. I'm sorry to hear that. I know DSMers are notorious for making things work but I'm starting to find out that if you do it right the first time you have less problems in the long run.

I suggest you post a WTB classified on dsm trader or here hopefully someone can help you out.

Good luck
