O2 housing choices: Ported stock, EVO, or eliminator???

Your choice will depend on your goals for the car. .If you want to run 10's or 11's at the strip then you're going to need a turbo and a big wastegate, either internal or external. If you're thinking about buying one of the currently available turbos with large internal gates then you might think about spending the money for an o2 eliminator, since you'll need lots of flow for that internal gate. If you're going externally gated, then you won't need the eliminator, as you'll have your WG dumped to atmosphere, or routed back into your DP.

Porting your stock housing is very economical if you don't plan to upgrade to a huge turbo in the near future. It will decrease spoolup time ans increase maximum power output for a smaller turbo.

I'm not fimiliar with the EVO housing, all I've heard is thats it's really really big, so it might be the right choice for a Big 16G with internal WG, for example!

Just a few suggestions.

I have an EVO on now with my O2 elim DP sitting on the floor waiting to go on on friday. the Evo housing is bigger than a ported 2g Housing but nothing flows as much as a O2elim.

Later,

if yer interested ill sell u my TRE ported o2 housing for 135 + S&H and I know you can sell your stock o2 housing to places like Forced Performance for 50 bucks like I did.. so ojnly 85 for a ported o2 housing..
