motor swap question

i was wondering 2 things.i want to make my 4663nt into a 4g63t. i wanna swap the tranny and motor and ecu into this car.should bolt right in,or so im told.how difficult will this be if i get everything.the motor,fwd trans,and the ecu.will it be able to be done.and i was also wondering,is anyone running the buschur racing 20g turbo.ive been looking at it and if im doin this swap i want to run this turbo.any info will be greatly appreciated

Do you have a nt motor that you want to put into your turbo car, or do you have a nt that you want to turbo charge?

I used to run a Buschur 20g I was happy with it at the time. It is a solid 400hp turbo, with a reasonable spool-up time.

a 20g will blow the ring lands off his nt pistons faster than he could shut the engine down.

what he's talking about is taking a 4g63 nt engine bay and replacing everything in it with that from a 4g63 turbo fwd.

yea i want to gut the engine bay and replace the 4g63 nt with a turbo 4g63. i wanna replace the tranny,ecu and the motor itself.but will my axle shafts meat up wit the tranny.thats my big concern.if i change all 3 will it bolt up to everything else.

Trade a NT for a Turbo AWD like I did. I found a guy that was stupid and took my NT talon straight across for a AWD Eclipse. Everything should bolt up, CV shafts and all. But a lil FYI, A AWD Tranny in a FWD Car is a popular upgrade because the CV Shafts are equal length, therefor decreasing wheel hop. Your exhaust wont bolt up. If you are looking for some Turbo Pistons for a 1g, I have some nice used ones about to be for sale if you are interested. Is your tranny an auto?. Either way, your tranny should bolt right up.

i have a fwd 5spd. i would like to run it fwd.if i put in the fwd trans what would i do about the transfer case deal. isnt there a output for the rear wheels.

im not sure. just do a search for that swap. it might be on DSM.org.

How hard would it be to put a 4g63 turbo in a car that originally had the 1.8L SOHC engine?

My friend's got a '94 Eclipse with the 1.8, and we were wondering about the swap.

most of its just bolt in to. but the wireing harness and ECU are way different. 1.8 uses a distributer, 2.0 is Distributerless. The motor mounts I think are the same, CV shafts are different and the tranny is different. don't quote me on the tranny being different. im not 100 percent sure.
