o2 dump tube

Ive been thinking of picking this up and replacing my ported o2 housing with it.. Does anyone have any personal experiences with o2 dump tubes they wanna share? also where is the cheapest/best place to get one as I know a few different places make them..

I use the Victory Performance piece and it is very high quality, fitment is great(even better on your 2G, due to o2 sensor mounting). If you don't mind loud, than it is great for you application. I bought mine premature to actually needing it, cause I got a graet deal on it. I ran a 13.8 with the o2 housing, cat back and k&n. Not sure how much it helped but I recommend it, to anyone who dosent mind loud. And by loud I mean if you are cruising by someone that is walking on the sidewalk and open it up they are most likely going to jump out of the way or grab there chest with both hands. The noise level is probably close to that of a Harly at wide open throttle, but it comes out of know where. Like all you can here is the beutiful whistle of your turbo spooling then the horrible sound of you shredding the opponent! Good luck!

nm, i found it.. 285 huh.. seems pricey but sounds promising.. maybe if I can sell my ported o2 housing it would be a good thing

If your still thinking of going with a larger turbo I would hold off on this piece because you may want to buy the O2 with External Gate later on. It may save you money if you hold off. I went with VP O2 with External Gate routed back into the exhaust, and the quality and fitment was perfect. The do make excellent parts!

i've got the DSM Performance o2 eliminator downpipe with the external dump. I don't know if the dump made a big difference as i did it at the same time as the downpipe. The sound is great though, as long as you like sounding like a tractor at full boost.

is there a reason to go with an o2 mounted wastegate vs a exhaust manifold mounted wastegate besides price??

as for sound i figure it prolly sounds the same as my car does right now with no exhaust right??

You all say the dump is loud. Is it anoyingly loud like say a civic in VTEC or is it deep loud?

my guess is deep growling type of loud if its like the open downpipe which is essentially the same thing..

About extrnally gated turbos, I think that the general idea is 20G or larger it is a good idea to run external WG. I'm going to attemt to run a 20G interanally gated, I think I will be okay with ported wastgate, VP O2 dump, and 3'' all the way back. Thats just me opinion, so we will see how it does.

I have read that the Wastegate on the O2 is better for flow. The primary reason I bought it though is because I didnt want a dump tube and I didn't want to replace my downpipe to route it back into the exhaust. The O2 housing was the best solution for me and was about $30 more to route back in (the price of the flange).

I have the 3" 02 eliminator dp from dsm-p. I am happy with the performance and actually like the sound of it. I don't know how to explain it, it just screams! There's a video on my sight you can check out to hear how it sounds on my car. Only the 12.3 video has the dump, none of the other videos do.
