I've been looking at putting the engine from my '90 GS-T into a '93 AWD shell. What kind of time output can I expect for this? Will I have to replace anything? Any special tools? Any tips to make it go faster or less painfully?

Thanks!

It's a straight swap. The front cover of the engines will be different (7-bolt vs 6-bolt) The water pumps, timing tensioner and tensioner arm are different, but if you leave everything from the front of the engine on both they will work. You will need a 6-bolt AWD flywheel to use with the 6-bolt engine in your AWD.

Can you think of anything that I might want to swap out (besides the flywheel) as long as I've got the engine out?

Thanks a lot
