Hey, im intrested in buy a 92 tsi talon.Theres a few problems with it.It has a blow head gasket, and no compression in cylinder 2.I was jus wndering if anyone thinks its worth it to buy it and replace the head or fix it.He is askin 500 so im askin around if any thinks its not a bad idea i wanna a project car so i can get more experience.

Many times what seems like a "good deal" actually turns out to be more expensive in the long run. I'm not saying that this is necessarily the case here, but how do you know that it doesn't also have tranny problems? If the only thing wrong with it a blown HG, it's probably worth it, but caveat emptor...
