Cat back exhuast OR 14b + kit??

Ok there is a guy localy that is selling a 14b with the kit to put it on a 2g for 300 bucks. The turbo is in good shape has no shaft play and he said he would check it out before he sold it to me. So here is my question what would be more benificial? cat back with a test pipe or a 14b? I know the 14b will most likey be choked by the small exhuast. ANd the cat back would be good but.. the 14b is here right now, and i dont know what too do. I only have enough money for one or the other.. not both. What you guys think would give me the best gains?

I think the cat back would give you the best gains for now. But it also sounds like that 14b deal won't be around forever. So I vote for the 14b package. You can always get the cat back later.

I would seriously save and get atleast a 16g, your going to regret it because once you get a 14b and max it out and you want more power theers more money for a bigger turbo. I would wait.

I'd get the turbo, I just put one on my 2g and its badass! It olds boost all the way to redline. Many car have gone into the 12's with a 14b, so I would go ahead and get it then the cat and other supporting mods i.e. fuel pump injectors...etc.... then save up and get a big 16g! Compared to the t-25, the 14b is the #*#*#*#*!

i would go ahead and get the turbo even tho you won't realize its potential until you get supporting mods, including exhaust. You can always sell it later. Since you got a deal on it you won't lose much selling it.

personally id say to get the catback. Later down the road you can get a better turbo for not much more then what there asking fir the 14b and install kit.
