I've been looking through agp's website, and just have a few questions about their L3R. Just to let you know I'm not looking to buy it, but I have some questions. It says that they're getting full boost (whatever that may be I dont know) by 4300rpms. That's with a BB center section AND a ported 7cm housing. Does that seem late to anyone else? A friend of mine is getting full boost (28psi) on his RED (non BB, 8cm housing) by 4100rpm. I know the Red is a LITTLE bit smaller turbo, but it's also non BB, and uses a larger 8cm housing.
How is it the L3R spools so late? I would think it'd be somewhere in the neighborhood of 3800 or so, considering it's using the smaller housing and is BB. Is there something I'm missing here?

EDIT: if this breaks the "turbo discussion" rules please delete it. it's saturday so i can't call AGP and ask about it.

My L2R hit full boost (20psi in 5th gear starting at 3k) by 3700 RPM. So I think 3800 on a larger turbo would be pretty tough. You also have to remember that the exhaust wheels in the Red & L3R are totally different. I'd also like to know how your friend measured when he hit full boost... what gear & what RPM he started at. 4100 seems a bit low to other Red owner's results from what I remember.
