Is 300whp possible..

I got a bet with a friend that I can get 300whp with the setup I will have soon.

95 GSX
- 6 Bolt block
- Cone filter
- 255 fp
- big 16g ported
- ported o2 and exhaust mani.
- Apexi N1 dp, and catback
- FMIC
- 550 injectors
- S-AFC

With good tuning doyou think 300whp is possible?

get your self a good exhaust system, Boost Gauge an MBC as well, yeah, and a new BOV

A BOV is necessary, as well as IC piping to slap it on. How do you plan on tuning? Even with the afc you'll need o2's, EGTs, a pocketlogger and dont forget the boost guage. It's possible.

Ok I guess I should include more in my profile. I will update it now. I have a Greddy Type-S BOV, UICP, EGT and boost guage, but no logging software. I will have help from a local DSM guru on tuning, and he may have some equipment, but what should I get to tune with?

Oh yeah, I only bet a 6-pack cause we were discussing this while drinking, and his constant joking on my claims made me nervous.

You can get a pocketlogger to keep track of things and then use a S-AFC to tune your fuel

Yes, a properly TUNED big16g is capable of ~360hp at the crank, so figure around ~330whp.

get an FPR when you get that 255 pump. Makes tuning much easier, and idle won't suffer as much
