I have a 95'- 97' engine, well I removed to swap my rear o2 sensor, when I put everything back togetherm the studdered and died, and now it wont even start.
however, at the Rocky mountain dsm site, several people are telling me that if I streched the o2 wires, then I could have pulled the connections, sending the hot +12 right into my ecu, respectively BLOWING IT UP!!!
well maybe not that bad- but frying it, I am asking if you guys have heard of this.
b/c- then I'll have an excuse to get a new eprom, with a keydiver chip!!
but its not the problem then what is-
all of my plugs get spark, my MAF isnt the issue, my coil packs/power transistor tested fine.
but at when this happened it managed to blow my engine fuse.
what could this be??

ya, but every dsm here is freakin a/t or FWD, damn....
The type of transmission doesn't matter with 2g DSM ECU's. I have an A/T GST and I'm using an ECU from a '97 5-speed GSX in it right now. FWD ECU's have a speed limiter but that won't matter for your purposes. I also have a '95 socketed GSX ECU ready for when I buy DSMLink. I will have to swap plug wires and have the CAS inverted, but I've put this ECU in my car as is and it ran fine.

still, what about my problem?- could my ECU cause this?
Yes, your ECU could cause this. But then so could a blown fuse or a broken or shorted wire. I wish I could walk you through trouble shooting electrical problems but it's very difficult. Do you have the service manual wiring diagrams? What I would do in your situation is start by checking fuses. Next, get a VOM (volt-ohm-milliampmeter) multimeter and trace circuits, starting with your fuel pump relay since you say don't have fuel pressure.

ok, I fixed it- my weaponR AFPR was bad or something- my stock FPR got the car to run excellent ( 190fp) but I still would rather get an AFPR back on there- could an AFPR go bad after 120~miles, or maybe defective??
