I was working on my car last 4 months on building the trany, changing the t-belt , instaling 1g tb, water injection etc... Engine was out, i removed balancer shafts and i replaced valve cover (mine cover was broken, oil was leaking). Now after putting everything back together, i got leaks almost everywhere.... All around valve cover, somewhere under t-belt cover, i believe oil pen too, my spark plag are flooded with oil etc...:( . I've heard about crank pressure, could this be a problem.... engine is kinda old and I was hard on it last 20k...

More information might make it easier for someone to help. What kind of gaskets did you use? What did you torque things to? etc...

Take care,

David

Did you use all new gaskets/seals and rtv?

As he said did you use all new gaskets?
also the t belt side id check your auto tensioner if the bolts are not tight oil will come out the bolt holes...and lots of it.

cam seals is also a problem area...atleast for me.

I fixed it, it was the broken valve cover and i didnt know that i have to put some silicone on cam bracket... Its all good now... thanks guys :thumb:

well they are not really brackets per say. I believe he is talking about the cam seals on the timing belt side of the motor.

yea im an idiota! For some reason I was thinking one thing and typed another.
